Sound Attenuators / Silencers
& Louvers
Rectangular and circular silencers are installed in ducts to reduce the noise from fans and blowers.
Silencers are often used in exhaust stacks as noise levels coming from the stack will generate community noise complaints. The proper design and use of a silencer will need to address the airflow and available pressure drop in conjunction with the exact sound levels that exist.
