Engine Test Facility

Lube-Tech is a worldwide leader in the development of high-performance lubricants for the marine, powersports and outdoor power equipment industries.  For 20 years Lube-Tech has also operated an engine testing facility called Test Tech.  In 2018, Test Tech renovated a building near their corporate offices into a dedicated, state-of-the-art engine and fluids testing facility.  Lube-Tech contacted O’Neill Engineered Systems, Inc. to provide a proposal to design/build a modular, four-cell engine test chamber.  

Each cell required a combination of a significant noise reduction, plus a high degree of access, visibility and ventilation.  O’Neill Engineered Systems, Inc., in partnership with IAC Acoustics, worked closely with Lube-Tech’s Engineering Manager, Denny Swanson, to meet the many competing requirements of this type of facility.  IAC’s wide acoustic product offering included:

O’Neill Engineered Systems’ extensive experience with Dyno Rooms enabled it to provide Lube-Tech with custom-designed test cells specifically aimed at developing high performance lubricants for the engines of the 21^st century.
